Jazz Festival

Leimert Park in Los Angeles has been the heartbeat of Black arts and culture on the West Coast for decades. This poster was created for the 5th Annual Leimert Park Jazz Festival's juried art competition — and took first place. The design captures the energy and rhythm of an evening in the park, where live jazz moves through the crowd and the streets come alive. The color palette and composition draw from the vibrancy of the festival itself — bold, warm, and alive with movement. The winning poster was featured in official festival materials and promotions throughout the 2024 season.

Client Request: Create a Logo that incorporates a dragon and a pen for our notary company catering to renaissance fairs. Final Logo Design: This logo features a stylized dragon's head, blending seamlessly into a fountain pen nib. The dragon's head is depicted in vivid shades of green and yellow, with intricate detailing on its scales and mane, giving it a fierce and majestic appearance. The pen nib, forming the lower part of the dragon, is rendered in a metallic-looking black and silver, adding to the artistic fusion of fantasy and functionality. Below the artwork, the text "Notaries of the Realm" is elegantly written in a cursive font, complementing the imaginative design of the dragon pen.
